NOAKES'S APPEAL ALLOWED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, May 3. Mr. Justice Sim allowed the appeal by Oliver Noalccs against his conviction and sentence of eleven months' imprisonment on a charge of making an utterance intended to interfere with the unloading of a steamer. The Judge expressed the opinion that the remarks in question were spoken without intention of influencing the conduct ef another waterside worker, but merely expressed disapproval of his conduct in connection with hours of engagement. . ■ • The appeal was allowed, and the information was dismissed.
