VICTORIA COLLEGE STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION

j nineteenth annual general meeting of the Victoria University Collego Students' Association (Incorporated) was held/in the gymnasium building, when tho president (Mr. Kay) presided over about 160 students. The annual rpport showed that 350 students and ex-students havo volunteered and been accepted for active service up to date, and of these forty have laid down their lives, including two Rhodes scholarsCaptain Alan MaoDougall and Lieutenant Athol Hudson. During the year members of tho association knitted and sent to the front some 200 pairs of socks, and also collected two oases of clothing for the Belgians; in England. It was decided at the meeting that £25 ho donated out of the patriotic fund to tho Wellington War Relief Association. , The following officers wore elected for tho coming year:—Patron, Professor Garrow; president, Mr. S. A Wiren; vice-presidents, Miss -,E. J. Crawford and Mr. J. H. Sheat; lion. secretary, Mr. H. D. 0. Adams; hoti. treasurers, Miss J. Park and Mr. E. Evans; committee,' Misses . Woodhouse,Mackenzie, and Crabb, Messrs, Joplin, Hemery, Cooper, and Rishworth; hon, auditor, Mr>. G. W. F. House; tournament delegates, Messrs. G. G. G. Watsoii. and •'£.'; J. M'Lennan.
