LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
PRUSSIAN BLUE PEAS
Sir, —In Messrs. Lacry and Co.'s weekly produce report wo always find tho above staring us in the face. Can you, Sir, not induce tho firm to obliterate this word Prussian, and substitute the word British blue peas. They are grown on British soil by Britains, therefore let .us advertise our own country, -and not that of a wretched country and an enemy. In fact, Bir, I think if a few of the German concocted telegrams—generally professing to record our defeats and German victories —wore refused admission to your columns readers woxild bo more ploawd. As a rule, they are not taken for gospel.—l am, etc., HENRY WALTON. Waikanae, April 13, 1917.
