EASTER HOLIDAY ABBANGEMENTS. Easter Holidays.—On Good Friday, April 6, the Postal Department will bo closed in all its branches.. Mails for dispatch by steamers will closo at 8 p.m. on the previous evening, and tho only dispatches of correspondence by ■ trains will ■ close on Good Friday as follows:—For the Wairarapa, Hawkc's Bay, Manawatu, . Rangitikei, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts at 5.45 aim.; for Auckland and Auckland district At 8 a.m. The city and suburban Tcceivore will not be cleared during the day. but tho midnight clearances will be made as usual. There will not be any deliveries by letter-carriers on Good Fri- ; day, but on Thursday, April 5, the OarI iers' Department (upstairs from Feather- ! ston'Street) will, be opeui for the delivery ! of correspondence addressed to streets in i the city and suburbs from'B to 9 p.m.; also the public counter for the delivery of correspondence addressed Chief Post Office, and the parcels delivery counter wall be open from 8 to 9 p.m. !
