Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., presided over tbo civil business. Judgment by default of defendants was given for plaintiffs in the following cases:—Public Trustee v. Arthur Nml, £8 2s. Gel., costs .CI 6s .6d,;~W. Wylio v. G. Goldsmith, £2 17s. 4d., costs 10s.; H. Webster and Co. v. Miss A. G. Williamson, £1 9s. (3d., costs 55.; Tho British Imperial Oil Co., Ltd., v. W. Duncan, £1 17s. 7d., costs 125.; F. M. Thomson v. Wm. Crozier, £10 6s. 4<L, costs £1 10s. 6d.; siimo v. Frank Lambert, £3 Is., costs 135.; Alfred Ponsford Dryden r. Mrs. Annio Low, £1, costs 6s. " In a judgment summons case, W. Thompson was ordered to pay. D. J. M'Leunan £11 10s. 6d. by March 27, or sorvo seven days in gaol. Defended cases*:—M. O'Kano v. W. W.
