A FINE DAY
"With a light southerly breeze to cool the air, yesterday was a most pleasant summer's day. Tho wind died dwn towards evening, and tho atmosphere became rather close. Present indications, says the official report, are for east to south-easterly winds, from strong to galo, northward of ivawnia and East Cape, and freshening northerlies and easterlies olsownere. Squally weather with rain is probable, in the northern and east coast districts or tho North. Island, and fair to cloudy, conditions elsewhere.
