YESTER-DAY'S "SITTING. By Telegraph—Pro* Association. Auckland, January 18. At tho annual session of the University Senate it was resolved, by 13 votes ""That tlie Statutes an<l Ad Eundem Committeo report on tho question of voting by proxy." It was also decided: "That tho university colleges ho asked to furnish tho Senate, in time for consideration at its annual meeting,' with detailed Teports of the expenditure of tho grants out of tho National Endowment Fund, and nature "of tho working of tho university tutorial c|nsses"; also, "that a. committeo bo sot up to inquire into the working of the Workers' University Tutorial Classes."
