PRESBYTERIAN BIBLE CLASS
■SUMMER CONFERENCE. . By Telegraph—Press Association. Oamaru, January 1. The Now Zealand Presbyterian -Biblo Class Summer Conference), which is being held during the Christmas and New Year holidays, is proving ono of the most successful since its inauguration. The total registrations are 730. , Tho weather was gloriously fino until yesterday, when a drizzling rain came on, followed by sharp showers during the night. Tho Bible- Study Classes havo been held daily in tho Municipal Gardens, which havo boon thoroughly appreciated. Mass. meetings were held each evening, and business meetings each day.
Testcrday was a. special conference Sunday, and all meetings were largely attended.
At the combined meeting held this afternoon it was announced that the next conference would be held at Napier.' The delegates arc comfortably housed, the men in the State schools and tho women at Waitaki Girls' High School, and meals are taken ■ in the large Defence Hall.. Meetings have been sandwiched in between sports meetings, and the recreation side of, tho gathering has not been overlooked.^-. The conference closes to-morrow.
