The.sale of the Pefry v Estate at Rongotea was held yesterday by Messrs..Levin and Co., Ltd. "There was a large attendance of buyers from all /over the North Island, but bidding was not very' spirited, only two lots being sold under the hammer. The lots sold were: Lot 1, 94 acres, at £30 per acre, to Messrs. C. Jensen and A. A. Shulz; Lot 7, 86} acres, at £25 per acre, to Mr. J. W. Hamlin. Bidding for the balance of tho sections did not ■reach.the reserve figures, so they were passed in. After the sale all of the, . sections, comprising 497 i acres, were sold at "the. reserve prices to Mr. William Burne. The whole 6ale brought in £18,722 .10s,, which the vendors consider most satisfactory. ,'.\
