INSTITUTE OF PATENT ATTORNEYS
ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Institute of Patent Attorneys held in Wellington, the following officers wero elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. P. B. Cliinie; vice-president, Mr. E. P-. O'Donnell; council, Messrs. G. W. Basley, J. T. Hunter, E. S. Baldwin, C. C. Coates, and A. J. Park; secretary, Mr. S. H. Higga. The annual report of the Institute mentions that in accordance with the recommendation of tho Instituto MrBaldwin was appointed a member of tho Board of Examiners'for tho admission of patent attorneys as prescribed iu the Patents, Designs, and Trade Marks Act, 1911. As a result of representation made by the Institute, the registrar has agreed to publish his decisions in opposed cases in tho "Patent Office Journal" from the beginning.of the present year. It was ' unanimously resolved that a donation of £10 10s. be made from the funds of tho Institute, to the Red Cross Fund, subject to the concurrence of individual members, which will no doubt bo readily obtained.
