"THE INVISIBLE WORLDS AROUND US."
Last night at the rooms of the Theosophical Society, Ballancc Street, Mr. J. Ross Thomson, of Auckland, delivered an address on "How We Contact the luvisiblo Worlds Around "Us." The lecturer stated that the Theosophical Society presented certain basic facts to the world. They were a band of students, and their object was not to formulate doctrines, but to investigate truth, and to quicken spiritual powers that each man might win his own way to divinity. All religions bad their foundation in a common, belief that a great teacher once came to present to the world certain aspects of universal truth. Theosophy assorted that it was possible to.obtain direct knowledge of spiritual truth for oneself. But for this long training was necessary, and one of the objects of the Theosophical Society was to provide that training. TJio lecturer concluded by promising to discuss nest AVcdnesday the. methods by which psychical powors m'ay be developed.
