He affirmed that the moral unity of tho Hungarian nation was unshaken. Count. Andrassy, the leader of the Constitutional Party, and M. Rakovszky, leader of the Catholic Party,- made a similar declaration.

A Russian official communique states: "Our offensive is developing westward of Lake Van. We occupied the region north-westward of Mush. We defeated four Turkish divisions. In the direction of Mosul we, surrounded and took prisoner two regiments. We are now counting the bopty." (Rec. August 25, 7.25 p.m.) .■ .... .
