..UNION OFFICERS ELECTED. The ballot which has been, taken OTor the last two davs for the election of oncers of the Waterside Workers' Union closed last night, the results being as under:— , „, , , , '~ • Vice-president, Mr. L. Glover (elected), Messrs. .R. J. Seal and G. Smith were supported in that order. No. 1 stevedores (deep sea), three to be elected, .Messrs. J. Ueid (re-elected), Jus. Ixoberts, and E. Brigdcu (re-elected); No. 2 stevedores (coastal and intercolonial), Messrs. J \nderson, T. I'ressley, and K. Gould. The first two were re-elected; Messrs. 1. Murphy, J. Franklin and G. Sackland. wero TB-elected for the Harbour Board Committee. • ■ Mr. D. Smith acted aa returning officer, while Messrs. M. Carlson and 1./Javrw were scrutineers. I
