RAILWAY-MOTOR FATALITY
. VERDICT AT AN INQUIRY. (By Telegraph-trees Association-Copyright Dunedin, July 26. •An inquest on the body of- Charles Ernest Collins, killed at Mosgiel on July 1 as the result of a collision between a motor-car and a railway train, concluded to-day. The Coroner returned an open verdict, and added a rider expressing the opinion that tjie' crossing .where tuo accident occurred was a dangerous crossin", and that the public should be saic"uarded by some effective measures, such as nagging against approaching trains and shunting operations. ■
