At the Sailors' Friend Society last niglil. a concert was given by Miss Chapman and party. The mi6sioncr (Mr. Hoore) made reference to the Tecent naval battle; and the audience stood ns a mark of sympathy with the relatives of those who lost their lives, and three cheers were piven for the fighters. Items were rendered by Mrs. Dunn, Misses Norris. Chapman. Lenzini, Messrs. Peek, Robinson, Campbell, M'Tvcon, M'Lcan ■and Whiley (Middlesex), Itoss (Oobar); Miss Norris and Miss Dunn were the pianists. A vote of thanks was, given the concert party. A conference between the. milk suppliers and vendors, rccardiug tile price of milk, will bo held at the Concert Chamber, Town Hall at 8 o'clock on Thursday.
