SECOND CONTINGENT ARRIVES IN EGYPT. By lelegraDli.-Press Association. Christohurch; April A cablegram was received yesterday from Miss E. Rout, promoter of the Volunteer Sister movement. Miss Rout is now engaged in important work in Egypt. The cablegram announced the airival there* of the second contingent of volunteer helpers. 'The party, which numbered six, left Sydney on February 25. Miss Rout states that the newcomers started work immediately after their arrival in Cairo. There' are now twenty volunteer sisters in Egypt, and, twenty working at Trentham and Oriental Bay.
