Fully laden, the Kowhai waa to have left Greymoutih .on Saturday for Wellington. . She should show up here this morning, and will, on completion of diwiharge, depart for Westport. Tlie collier Kini was to have loft West port late on Saturday night for Wellington. She is expected early this morning. The Koklri, which arrived laden for Messrs. A. S. Paterson and Co. last' week, is, on completion of, discharge, to re-enter ' the, Union Company's service,, and will be dispatched for Greymouth. Captain G. T. Hull has been advised by cable that tho steamer Melbourne, which was to leave Newcastle on Saturday with coal for Wellington, has been diverted, and her place taken by the ; Perth. It is improbable that the latter vessel will load for this port until after tho holidays. i The Kaithngata, laden with coal and timber; left Newcastle on Tuesday last for Wellington. She should show up here this this evening. Th!e Kurow. which arrived from Saji ' Francisco on Thursday last, left for Newcastle on Saturday evening. It is expected that the liner Dorset will arrive at Waitara to-day from Australia. She wiil visit l'ieton and Lj-ttelton bofore - coming on to Wellington, arriving here about, May 1.
