| A lance-corpoial of tho Military Police was assaulted by a soldier at the Lambton Station at about 11.30 o'clock la6t night) and as a result of injuries received, is how lying in an unconscious condition at tiic Hospital. ' The injured soldier, Lance-Corporal Corcoran, lmd occasion to arrest a soldier, and a brawl ensued, in which Corcoran was so severely kicked on the body and head that it was found necessary to call Dr. Henry, wlio ordered tho removal of the lance-corporal to the Hospital. As a result of the brawl a man was arrested by the- picket-guard and taken into custody at Trentham. Corcoran received two scalp wounds, slight concussion of the brain, and bruises to the body. . ■ '
