On J-uly 30 the rate was raised jto 4 per cent., and on July 31 it was raised to 8 per cent., and on August :1 ; it was further advanced to 10 per cent. On August 6 the rate was reduced to 6 per cent., on August 7 it was further reduced to 5 per cent., at which rate it now stands.
