THE RAID ON KENT
A SECOND GERMAN MACHINE ACCOUNTED FOR.

During Sunday's raid on Dover, an aviator who was taking an aeroplane from France to England brought down » second German ueroplano in tho Channel.
[Tills refors to tho raid on Kent, when two German seaplanes appeared off Do\'er on Sunday last and bombed tho town. Two others appeared at Ramsgate and bombed that 'place. Deal, Margate and Westgat© were also visited. There were 31 casualties as the result of the raid. Flight-Commander Bone, in an aeronlane, pursued one of tho German seaplanes for thirty miles to seaward, and after an action of a quarter of an hour forced the German enemy to descend. The newspapers state that the Allies' raid on . Zeebrugge destroyed an aerodrome and six aeroplanes.
Ono of the Gorman torpedo boats which was chased back to cover by the British destroyers returned to harbour with six dead on board and 30 wounded.
