Jefferies (the "Daily Mail's" correspondent at Athens) states that regarding the rumour that Ismail Hakki Pasha has replaced Enver Pasjia as, Minister of War, it is a fact that the-, latter has not been seen since- hi 3 supposed assassination. This is regarded as proof of his death. It is also reported that Talaat Bey (Minister of Finance) has gone to Geneva. ' I PEACE MEETING LAST WEEK. ' WHAT TURKEY WILL PROPOSE. (Rec. March 19, 5.5 p.m.) Salonika, March 18. . The Turkish newspaper "Moudjasle", states that the Grand Council, including all Ministers and" several Senators, met last week and discussed the-terms of : peace, and that Turkey will propose to,: co-operate with the Entente against" Bulgaria.
