CRIME IN AUCKLAND
SUPREME COURT SENTENCES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, February 22. In the Supreme Court, William Henry Copestake, for perjury, was sentenced to two years' reformative treatment. Clolthel Feirabond, an unnaturalised German, for indecent assault 011 a married woman at Taneatua, Bay of Plenty, was sentenced to six months' hard labour. Vernon Alan Burnside, for breaking, entering, and theft, was ordered to undergo three years' reformative treatment. ,A LIGHT CALENDAR. PALMERSTON NORTH SESSIONS. Palmerston N., February 22. For tho Supreme Court sessions there is a light calendar. Thomas Schofield, 011 a chargo of forgery, was found guilty and scntonce was deferred.
