Bidding was keener than the past several sales, and-prices realised were as follow:— from 18s.- to 19s. lid.; fat lambs ;'m'ade from 15s. 6d. to 16s. cull lambs, 10a. to lfe.; inferior lambs, Bs. to 9s. 6d.; four, six, and eightrtootli ewee, 190. 3d. to 2ls. Id.; mix€d-age 15a. Bd. to 175.; five-year ewes, 17s. 6d. to 18s. Id. Fat'cattle showed a marked, increase on the pricete lately ruling, fat cows selling freely from £8 15s. to £9 10s.; fairconditioned cattle,*.'£s 17s. 6d. to £8 155.; lieifers in calf, £3-to £4; bulls, £5 17e. 6d. to £6 10s. Messrs. Abraham" and .Williams, Ltd., report:—We had a fair yarding of sheep at our Pahiatua sale on Monday. Sheep were in strong demand, and sold as follows:—400 four and six-tooth wethere, .245. 2d.; .260 f.f.m. ewes, 235. Sd.j aged owes, 16s. to 17s. 6d.; woolly lambs, 13s. 7d.; four* tooth wethers, 225. 4d.
