Mr, Kipling is not the only novelist who mourns tlie loss of a soil. "George Egerton's" only boy lias died bravely at tho front. Mr. Neil Munro and Mr. Horace Anneslev Vachell are other novelist fathers in mourning. A soil of the late Marion Crawford and a son of the late Oscar "Wilde have also fallen.
