As correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship ,it is urged to avoid delays thai such correspondence bo posted in ample time for the mail, the day previous to its dispatch if possible. Parcels for dispatcii by steamers and tra/ns, with the exception of the usual Ferry steamers for southern offices, close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, ono hour before the ■ advertised times of closing tho mails. The parcel T post mail per Main Trunk express closes at the C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., and' for the south, per ferry steamer, at 5.45 p.m. Late letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot in future be posted on tho steamers, but must be posted in the lateletter posting-box at the Chief Post Office lip tu tho appointed timo shown on the mail notice. The advertised time for closing mails by steamer? is liable to alternation (earlier or later) at ony moment. As the. last clearance of tho city re* ceivers is made at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for the Sunday night Auckland express must be posted at the Chief Post Office not later than 8 p.m. «n ,6unday.
