Herr Liebknecht caused a oommotion by shouting: "The blood will fall on •you for withholding the troth from the people." Herr Hirsch, a Socialist, demanded the re-establishment of Belgian independence. CERMANY'S POST-WAR DEBTS. AMUSING ANTICIPATIONS. Amsterdam, January 18. The "Neue Zurchcr Zeitung" states that measures are under consideration for meeting Germany's post-war financial liabilities. They include war indemnities for raw materials. The whole yield of the Australian tin mines and South African gold mines may be taken for a decade or so, and the surrender of accumulated stocks of indiarubber and copper may also be demanded.
