Tho German Socialist newspaper "Vorwacits" has been suspended owing to criticism on the Government food supply. The Leipzic "Volks Zeitung" publishes a manifesto calling for a meeting to protest against the high food prices. It says: "Whilst the sons of workers are bleeding on the battlefields it is intolerable that famine oppresses the people everywhere in Germany."
