MAGISTRATE'S COURT

Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. For having - ridden a motor bicycle which did not bear a registration number, J. W. M. Harrison was fined 65., with 7s. costs. , Gideon Lamb was charged with having impeded the passage of a tramcar, through having driven a motor-car along in front of it in Cuba Street. Lamb, who was. defended by Mr. P. H. Putnam, denied any intention to impede the tramcar, and'the Magistrate gave him the benefit of the doubt, and found in his favour. ' Frederick Rankin was fined 5b., with oosts 75., for failure to stop a motor'uicycle when ordered by a police constable to. do so. / Walter Lancey Cole was fined 55., with 7s. costs, for having obstructed a footway. ...
