PRISONERS IN ASIA MINOR
'NEWS OF CREW OF AUSTRALIAN SUBMARINE. By Telegraph—Press Asaoclatlon-Copyrlsht (Rcc. August 5, 8.10 p.m.) Melbourne, August 5. Rear-Admiral Oresswell has received a letter from the Commander of tho submarine AE2,' which was sunk in the Sea of Marmora, stating that the crew is now imprisoned in the centre of Asia jjinor. They are all well, and taking their imprisonment oheerfully. Their treatment is as good as it was possible to bo expected. None .of the crew were lost when the vessel ii-as sunk: Tho letter adds:— "When I am able to send a report, the manner in which all hands performed their duty will speak volumes for the future Australian Navy. On many occasions only a matter of seconds separated us from certain death, w >« hands, down to the youngest, did their work with a steady coolness beyond all praise."
