HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. Miss Dorothy Harris, who has been rightly styled the "queen of ragtime," made His Majesty's Theatre ring with applause again last night, and the audience kept calling for extra songs from her, Her favourite number "Mississippi" has to be rendered regularly, and it never fails to rouse tho crowd in the gallery. While Miss Harris is the leading artist at this theatro just now, there aro several others who give capital turns. Prominent among them are the Three Ruddles, and the Tossing Testros. There will be a matinee on Saturday afternoon. > KING'S THEATRE. . With Miss Edna Flugrath and Mr. Ben Webster in the leading parts, the London Film Company's, drama "Lil o' London" is exceptionally well acted! The picture has made a decided hit this week at the King's Theatre, where there is a strong supporting programme, including interesting scenic, topical and comic items. 'The music by the King's Symphony Orchestra is of a pleasing character. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. "Our Troops in Egypt" is the title of a film which is .proving a big attraction at Everybody's Continuous Picturo Theatre in Maimers Street this week. Everv detail of the training is shown even down to the long marches across the sandy desert, with the Pyramids in the background. "The Good in Him" is a heart-, appealing drama of -life in the wilds of California. The latest "Australian Gazette" features cartoons by Harry Julius. , ' THE CHERNIAVSKYS. Leo, Jan, and Mischel Cherniavsky, after a most successful tour of tho Dominion, will say farewell to .Wellington on July 7, 8,. and 10. ' Mr. Edie, their advance agent,- who is at present en route to Canada to arrange their American tour, stated that he had received numerous letters from all parts of the Dominion approbating the talents of these young Russians, and no doubt music lovers who heard the trio on their last visit to Wellington • will welcome tho further opportunity of listening to the Cherniavskys.
