MAORIS ASSEMBLING i —^ A small number of men for the Maori Reinforcement draft have assembled in Wellington, and they are to be taken to Palmerston North this morning. The force is to concentrate at Palmerston North prior to proceeding to Auckland to receive its course of training. The training camp will be established at Narrow Neck. The first natives to go into the camp wira a contingent of 40, who wore to arrive from Trentham yesterday ; and between 300 and 400 Maoris from tho various districts will go under canvas this week.
