CONGESTION IN BLUFF STORES. By Telegraph-Presa Association. Invercarglll, June 28. A meeting of merchants was held to-day to discuss the dearth of shipping at tho Bluff. It was pointed out that the -l>osition ivas very acute. The Bluff stores are in a dreadful state of congestion. and matters have reached a climax. Finally it was decided to lodge a protest with tho Union Company, pointing put the amount of attention other ports had received with regard to ships, while the first steamer from the Bluff was set down for July. Tho motion urged that a boat be put on for Melbourne, and the same facility be extended in regard to Sydney.
