CLEMENCY FOR DE WET
PETITION BY AFRIKANDER WOMEN. . By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Johannesburg, June 27. Thirteen thousand six hundred and forty-five Afrikander women have petitioned the Government for clemency for -De Wet (who ha 3 been sentenced to six years' imprisonment) and his fellow prisoners. SENTENCED FOR TREASON.
THREE MORE REBEL LEADERS. Bloemfonteln, June 27. The Treason Court sentenced Colonel Wessels to five years' imprisonment and fined him £5000, and Colonel Conroy and Nicholas Serportan to four years' imprisonment, with no fine.
