THREATENED STRIKE IN GERMANY
'ARMED FORCE USED. (Rec. June 27, 4.-5 p.m.) Amsterdam, June 2G. With a, view to overcoming < threatened strikes for higher wages- in some German towns, the military intervened and compelled the men to' finish their contracts, forbidding employers to engage unionists who had deserted unfinished jobs.
