AN APPEAL ALLOWED In the Supreme Court yesterday morning, His Honour Mr. Justice Edwards heard an appeal from the decision of the late Dr. A. M'Arthur, S.M., in the case of E. P. Bunny and another versus Major Fleming Ross. The original action was a claim for possession of fiOO chairs formerly the property of the Hutt Valley Rifle Volunteers, defendant having refused to hand over the possession whon the drillsbed and land it Lower Hutt were sold to the Crown. On October 2, 1913, the late Dr. M'Arthur gave judgment for plaintiffs for possession within 14 days or £100 and costs. From this deciiion Major Ross appealed, on the ground that it was erroneous in faot and law. The appeal was allowed with costs £20, tho costs in the court below to bo fixed by that court. Mr. H. F. Von Haast appeared for the appellant, while Mr. E. P. Bunny appeared for the defendants.
