•Mr. C. S. Arcus, eldest son of Mr. T. S. Arcus, of Dalefi-Jd, tiled at his i'es'dence at Dalefieldon Tuesday night at the early age of 33 years. was a carpenter ay trade, and had teen in failing health for several years. He leaves a widow and a family of four young children. The members of the Masterton Foresters' Lodge have arranged to pay an official visit to the Carterton Lodge on Wednesday evening nest. ' Through the efforts of Sir Walter Buchanan, district member of the Wellington Education Board, a grant has been obtained to re-erect tne school residence at Carrington recently destroyed by' fire.
