If that crop turns out well, the estimated yield for the Dominion ol 10,194,037 bushels may he exceeded. Potatoes are still selling at £4 at country stations, LONDON FUR SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated March 20:— "At the fur sales held this week there was no demand, and practically everything was withdrawn. For opossum skins prices showed a decline of 65 per cent., as compared with last March. No wallaby skins were sold. Fox skins were 10 to 30 per cent, lower." LONDON WOOL SALES. MINERAL" OUTPUT IN NEW SOUTH WALES. _ • - Sydney, March 23. The New South Wales mineral production for 1914 is valued at £10,499,720, e decreese of £1,595,364 compared with 1913. The chief decreases are:-Gold, £106,830; silver and lead ores, £1.089,744; copper, £300,000; tin, £150,000.
