MR. D. MILLIGAN'S STAFF PICNIC

The annual picnio of Mr. D. Milligan's staff was held at Belmont on Saturday under perfect/weather conditions, and a thoroughly enjoyable day was spent. In order to provide keen amusement a, ladies v. gentlemen cricket match was played, the result being a victory for the ladies by the Marrow margin of one run. A feature of the game was the excellent bowling of Miss \Vilsoii ; whilst Miss Mona-Philips showed considerable skill with the bat. A limited numbor of races were arranged, and resulted as follow; — Young Ladies' Race. —Miss Nola M'Kay, 1; Miss M. Phipps, 2. Married Men's Race. —J. Richardson, IJ. Randell, 2.
