Several animals nero disposed of at the Masterton ram fair oil Thursday ill aid of tho Belgian Relief Fund. Ducon, of Masterton, with Mr. G. Pember second. The fees collected at the Masterton Technical School last year amounted to £172 14s. 6d. Voluntary, contributions for the year amounted to £125 3s. 6d., which carried a Government subsidy of £91 13s. 3d. : v
Two events were run by tho Wairarapa Amateur Athletic' Club on Thursday evening. A 220 yards handicap was won by G. Challis, and a 880 yards handicap by F. Kilminstor. Tho total number of pupils who attended tho Jlastorton Teolmical School last year was 272—94 males and 178 females, No fewer than 51 holders of proficiency certificates reoeived instruction. ...
