ANSWERS TO CORRESPONDENTS.
"Inquirer," Woodvillo.—The street mileage of Wellington is about 185 I miles. It is a good deal in excess /' of that of Auckland City, as the latter city, has not yet compassed tho "Greater Auckland" scheme, and has , separate local authorities practically ' within the city radius. Wellington's drainage system (Shone ejectors) is as near perfection as is possible. Auckland's' system is still in the making. The Wellington system pumps all the drainage over the Constable Street hill to Cook Strait. Auckland's outfall is near Orakei (which is within the harbour). "0.," Levin.—The Otaki electoral roll was published on Wednesday, and may now be inspected at any post office within the electorate. Copies of the roll may be purchased from the 'Registrar of Elector-s at Manakau for Is. each. v
