THE AUSTRALIAN DELEGATION.
By Telesraph—Press Association—Copyrielit London, April 19. - The jiewspa-per "Observer's" Rome correspondent states that Monsignor : Cerretti'a appointment as Apostolic Delegate to Australasia; surprised Roman Catholic oircles. A newspaper called "Rome" states that the late Cardinal Moran, at Hie last ConclaVo, impressed; on Pius X the necessity for decentralising the elm roll in the most distant colonies, and suggested a primate for Australia, who should also bo Panal Legate. The Pope has decided instead that an Apostolic Delegate shall be the connecting link.
