♦ - ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH TO OPEN. By Telegraph—Pic63 Association—Copyright (Rec. June 15, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 15. The Armstrong Whitworth Company, the great engineering and armament firm, have obtained seventy acres of land near Montreal-and are erecting a steel works at a cost of .£200,000. Ultimately the works will employ two thousand men. Work will begin in May next.
