ST. MARK'S CHURCH.

In spito of the. iiicleirient 'weather, Slv Mark's ■ Church Easter ftstiyal serviced were well attended. There were four celebrations of Holy Coinmunion, the first being at 0.15 a.ni. Throughout the day tlierb were nearly four hundred communicants. Tho church was very prettily decorated by tho St. Mark's Decorating Guild. At tho evening servico t'lio Hallelujah Chorus was sung as tho Anthem, and the sermon was preached by the Rev. W. F. Long, who took for his subject the spiritual presenco of tho Risen Lord. At the close of Evensong a "Service of Dismissal". was held, at which tho Rov. William Fortescue Long was formally dismissed by tlio congregation of St. Mark's to mission work on their behnlf in the diocese'of Melanesia, and special prayers for tho work, of Melanesia Mission were offered.
