(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, March 23. An interprovincial cricket match-, Auckland V. Hawko's bay, was commenced on Saturday in beautiful weather, and on a 'perfect wicket. Sale's innings for Auckland was marred by four fairly easy chances, but Anthony gave a fine, chanceless, display, and their partnership accounted for 121 runs. At the luncheon adjournment the Auckland scoro stood at eix wickets for 250 runs, but, ten minutes after resuming, *lie innings was over, the last four wickets adding only 30.
