TIMED FOE THIS EVENING. , H.M.S. Drake, flagship of the Australa. s'an Squadron, leaves Wellington foi Milford Sound and Sydney at 6 p.m. to-, day. It is expected that the big cruiser will reach tho Sound at daybreak on Friday. She continues her journey tho sanio day, and is due at tho New South Wales port on Monday. : Yesterday afternoon the defence steamer Janie Seddon was engaged in tak-; ing juvenile members of the Navy League across to the Drake. The first trip.- at 1.30 included pupils of the Croydon School; Miss Baber's, and the Girls' College. Later in the afternoon members of the Bors' College branch and the recently-formed St. Patrick's College branch paid a visit to the flagship. . A. branch of the Navy League has been formed at Miss Sommervillc's School, the members of which visited the Drake j«s> terday.
