Mr. Donald M'Leau,' of Wellington, who for some months post has been touring England, Ireland, and Scotland, with his wife.and two daughter's, made an interesting trip to the isolated island of St. Kilda, while in Scotland, recently, and also took part on Saturday week, in the historic gathering of the Clan U'Lean, in the island of Mull, to .celebrate the reacqm'sition of Castle Diiart, the ancient stronghold of the clan, that has been in strange hands 'for 220 years. At this gathering, when M'Leans from the United States, Canada, Germany, Holland', and Xew Zealand (and Kaid Sir Harry M'Lenu, of Morocco fame), took part in the ancient riles and rejoicings, Jlr. M'Lean represented New Zealand. Jlr. and Mrs. M'L«m and "their family will b6 in London tfll September 213, when they sail for America and Canada.
