Tho Prime Minister (tho Hon. T. Mackenzie) and the Hon. W. D. S. Macdonald are at Gisborne, the Hon. A. M. Myers is at Dunedin, the Hon. G. Xauronson at Christchurch, ihe Hon. Te Enngihiroa in the North Auckland district, the Hon.H. G. Ell «t Nelson, and the Hon. T. Biixtun at Tcmnka. Tho Hon. G. W. Riissell and tho Hon. .T. Colvin sire in Wellington, and tho Hon. J. A. Hanan is due from the soutli this morning. Tho Hon. G. Laurenson is expected back from Christchurch to-morrow morning. The Prime Minister (the Hon. T. Afackenzio) and the Hon. W. D. S. Macdonald left yesterday .for Gisborne, where they will attend a "social" to-night in honour of Sir James Carroll. Mr. Mackenzie will return to Wellington immediately, and Mr. Maedonald will probably be brick at the end of the week. Tho Hon. J. A. Millar (states an Auckland Press Association telegram) has been suffering from ptomaine poisoning for the last few rlnys, and has been forced to delay his departure to Gisborne. Tn all probability. Mr. Millar will leavo Auckland on Friday. Tho Hon. A. M. Myers will leave Dunedin to-morrow for Invercargill. Ho will return on Friday mornin?, and probably leavo for Wellington on Saturday .--Press Association. The Postmaster-General (the Hon. H. G. Ell) left yesterday for Nelson by the Mapourika. Ho will go on theuco to Blenheim, and expects to get back to town on Saturday next. The Chief Justice (Sir I?obert Stout) is oxpeeted to return to Wellington to-day. He has been in tho north on Prison Board business. Messrs. G. H. Buckeridge, E. C. Goldsloiip. and L. Hill have been elected unopposed to fill three vacancies on the Filtham Borough Council, canwd by tho resignations of Councillors Crnnip (now mayor), Bashain, and Ban-.—Press Association. Colonel Wardrop Moore, who has been fishing at Taupo for two months pnst, left for Nelson yesterday. Ho will leave for England next month. 4 resolution of eondolenco with the relatives of tho late Mr. H. S. Wardell was passed by the general committee of the Wellington Provincial Industrial Association last night. Reference was made to the late Mr. V nrdeU's valuable co-opera-tion with the association in connection with tho Coronation Industrial Inhibition in {lie on parity of chairman of the Art Si-clion.
