DOMINION DAIRY SHOW, HAWERA.
In responso to representations ' which havo been niado by dairy agents and also by dairy-farmers, the' South lai-aiinki Winter Show Company has decided to hold its third annual Dominion dairy show at Hawora a month earlier than in previous years. The show will therefore bo opened on Wednesday, Juno 12, and will be'eontinued to June 15, a period of'four days. With the success which has attended the previous shows, the company has felt it necessary to provide more accommodation for exhibits, and the extension takes the form of a concretebuilt addition which will afford a tiirthor 7000 feet of floor space, making in alt 40,000 square feet for the whole buildingthe largest of anv A. and I'. show building of its kind in the North Tsland. The show, which will be opened by tho Prime Minister, the Hon. T\ Mackenzie, exceeds previous records in the way of dnirv entries, tho number for butter and cheese being 42 factories, against 31 factories last year.
