FLOODING OF TOWNS CERTAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Conyrlirhl New York, May 2. The levees guarding towns along the banks of the Mississippi havo broken. The river is rising rapidly, and the destruction of farms and the flooding of low-lying areas of towns is certain. Belief boats are out. Many persons are reported missing.
