UNLESS THEIE WAT IS PAID. OUR OLYMPIC ATHLETES. A meeting of the Olympic Sports Council was held yesterday afternoon. Mr. A, Jlarryatt presided. The council resolved that, having exceeded the amount of funds sent it with which to send Hi!! and Wilding to Stockholm, it could not undertake, for want of funds, to nominate Champion until the amount of bin expenses and powajsc was forthcoming. This resolution is to bo forwarded to .Mr. Harris, of Christcliurch, the secretary of the Swimming Association. It was stated that when Hill (the Auckland distance runner) was spntnwny Auckland people pledged themselves to provide .£75, but that up to the present only JE2J had been font.
